10yr. Reunion

Can you believe we have been out of high school 10years. Seems like forever when you think about that we have family's now and college is more than 5 years away. Lots of life changes but still 10 yrs is a long time. I really enjoyed it alot . Was so nice to see what everyone had been up to. Arden stayed with Grammy so she had fun. I wish they had a family picnic so that everyone could meet everyone else's children. That would have really been a good time. I might have skipped the formal reunion then if they had that. Matt has been home for a couple weeks so he had to go out of town this morning. I was spoiled from him being home so much. It is finally cooling off outside here and I am getting ready for fall! I LOVE FALL. That means I will have to get on planting grass and doing landscaping. It will be alot of work but i am ready to get the yard looking nice instead of like a mud pit.

Me Girl!

Arden is singing all of the songs from Sunday school now. It is so much better!!!! She is loving class finally. I think i finally realized what the problem was. We have been going to Mom's church on Wed because Wed. is family night but We finally decided that we need to be at our church. We miss everyone. Matt is usually out of town so it was just easier for me but now I decided that it just wasn't best. She is doing good! She loves all her little friends. Sampi has come home to live. He was staying at Grammy's with us and we hadn't moved him to new house yet because he needed a day at the spa. He used to play outside for hours at my parents and swim in the pond. At our house, he lays on couch with us and acts like a person. So, he had to get shaved. He looks cute though. Arden has managed to learn how to "rub" him instead of slapping so they are getting along a little better. He still runs from her because she is so loud.

New Happenings

We got Chelsea all moved in. It was faster than extreme apartment makeover. 24 hours and we had painted 4 rooms and her furniture. I got back at 1pm on Sat. night Arden had a great time with Daddy-He took her to 2 playgrounds a day. Then of course the day I came back he was dead tired. He overdoes it! He can't ever just let her "chill" and play at home. He called me Sat. afternoon and said "when are you coming home it is hard to entertain her". I said " what do you mean entertain her--she goes to work with me everyday for 8 hours and stays in my office. She is so easy". Good thing he is not a stay at home dad. HA.

We are really enjoying our new house. Falling into our routine and doing our stuff. It has been so nice to be a family again--just us. We have also been very lucky to have Daddy at home for 2 weeks strait. It is so nice when you are used to having him gone 3 nights a week.

My 10yr. reunion is this weekend. I am so old.

2 yr. appt.

Arden went for her 2 year doc's appt. She is 36.5inches tall--Doc said he predicts her to be about 5'10". That is my height. He also said she was right up there in the 100% for weight--He said cut back on carbs. HA! I am listening though. I have been super lazy about making her eat healthy. We are just on the go so much I will just let her eat fries so we can be done with it. She was 35.5lbs. He said I need to get her in a mother's day out to help with her playing with kids her age. She always wants to be around the older kids because they can talk better and she is around adults all the time. He said her verbal skills were great. She actually didn't cry much for her shot and finger prick and carried on a conversation with Doc when he asked her questions.
She is going to stay home with Daddy this weekend while me and Grammy move Chelsea to school. :(

New words

Arden's newest words are "delicious" and "tomorrow". She has new words everyday but those are the newest ones. She also has the biggest bug bites all over her. She has 5 on her neck. I am so sorry that she took after me in that department. She was only outside for about 10min. when I realized she did not have but spray on.

Also, I thought I would include a pic of me and Chelth. She leaves for school on the 15th and I am dreading it. She is my walking buddy and we have got to spend lots of time together this summer. I know I will miss her alot when she is gone. :(

New Car and House disaster

Arden got a car from Mimi and Grandbud for her bday. She loves seeing it every morning when she wakes up. She acts like it is a new toy everyday. She wanted both Mimi and Momma to "dribe it" but we couldn't exactly fit. She thinks she is so big when she drives it.

So, our house is ready to move in and so great. BUT we had a new A/C unit installed up in the attic for our split system unit through our home warranty. Well, I was there all day with the installers and it was about 1000 degrees upstairs. It all seemed to be installed correctly and was working when i left at 6pm last night. My contractor called me this morning at 830am and told me that he was there touching up some paint and there was water coming in the ceiling of Arden's room. I started freaking out but I knew it was coming from the unit running over. My contractor is so awesome. He started cleaning it up and pulled my rug out to dry and told me to call the A/C guys. They came out and fixed it today and said they would fix the damages. My contractor is going to have to cut out the ceiling and patch it but everything else looks okay. The A/C guys said they would pay my contractor to fix it so that was good. I really trust him and know he would do a good job. So, maybe we will have everything squared away soon. Oh, and I forgot to mention that one of our breakers was buzzing in the box yesterday too (means it is shorting out) and could have been a fire hazard. Our Lady Electrican came out and fixed it this morning. We will just see what will come up next. Thank goodness I love the house!!!
